METHODOLOGY
Colour composition in spaces is divided into two: 

1- THE FOUNDATION: Neutral building materials, the backbone of your design, are explored through the Universal Tint System's 11 categories.

2- THE ATMOSPHERE:  The "colourful" elements, which set the mood and ambiance, are are designed using the colourfit methodology, a system I've been developing since 2007, which leverages the strengths of the Munsell color system.

By mastering both methods, you'll gain a deeper understanding of color communication tools like RAL, Pantone, and NCS. This translates to faster and more efficient color selection for your design projects and  marketing tools.


COURSE FLOW:

Quarter 1: Color Literacy Master the basics – learn to differentiate and identify colour tones confidently.

Quarter 2: Complex Neutrals Become proficient in selecting "white + beige + grey" families – the foundation of building materials and wall paints. Practice planning a cohesive backdrop that avoids visual illusions.

Quarter 3: Color Harmony in Action Gain speed in selecting colour combinations, forms, sizes, textures, and accent colours using the theory of colour harmony. 

This translates your client's preferences, project requirements, and desired atmosphere into a harmonious colour scheme.

Quarter 4: Putting it all Together Following my presentation, we'll use a fresh lens to evaluate your learning. Bring your designs or frequently used swatches/catalogues for a hands-on review that applies the concepts to real-world applications.
